All personal training services at George Erb Fitness Center are provided by NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists. Personal training session offer individualized fitness programs including both a cardiovascular and resistance training regimen. The first session includes a total body strength assessment, a goal based resistance training program, instruction in proper technique to complete the program, as well as a training schedule/program. In addition, a segmental body composition analysis will be completed during this session. Subsequent sessions can be used to adjust/maintain the training program, increase/decrease intensity based on changes in needs or goals, or to provide a time to safely workout under constant supervision, in order to maintain proper form and technique for the exercises provided in the training schedule/program.
Specialty evaluations provided by licensed physical therapists are also available upon request. (See Defined Fitness Packages below)
Defined Fitness Packages
Defined fitness packages offer all of the benefits of our complete fitness packages, but includes a patient evaluation with one of our licensed physical therapists. The physical therapist will complete a total body “needs assessment” as well as provide recommendations and requirements to our training staff in order to provide the safest training program possible. Defined fitness packages are recommend for those members who have been recently injured or are currently dealing with a physical ailment.
